What To Bring

The atmosphere of the camp is similar to that which would prevail at our summer cottage and this should influence what you bring. Informality and comfort are key words regarding clothing, since we dress casually on all occasions, including the meal hour.

Bring shorts, T-shirts, swimsuits, hats, sandals and suntan lotion for warm days. Bring pants and sweaters for cool days or evenings, and be sure to bring rain wear just in case. For Friday night banquets, a white blouse or shirt is usually worn.

Bring your own toilet articles and towels, special medicines, insect repellent, bandaids, plastic cups. Bring all your own bedding, including sleeping bags, sheets, blankets and pillows - most beds are single bunks. If you think you may go on an overnight camping trip, bring a ground sheet.

Pup Tents or Tents for sleeping outside your cabin are not permitted

Don't forget your camera, binoculars, flashlights, reading lights, night lights, fan, fishing equipment, folding camp chairs and musical instruments.

Each week there is a camper show, in which people act, do skits, sing, tell jokes, and so on, there is a prop room in the recreation hall but you may wish to bring your own costumes and props.

Parents with young children might bring games, coloring books, crayons to amuse them on wet days. For the "toddler set", a plastic sand pail and shovel is a good suggestion for use at our beach.

Campers, desiring to bring private boats and motors, are requested to reserve mooring space with the Business Manager, before they come to camp.

Pets and firearms are not permitted.
